Job opportunities are wider in the North of Italy. the official employment office is known as the Provincia. There are also private employment agencies in all the major cities.

August is best avoided for job hunting as most of the businesses in Italy close in August.

In Italy, everyone is entitled to a contract of employment and you have the full employment rights and responbilities in Italy as in the UK.

Generally pay will be lower than in the UK, but the cost of living is also lower. In major cities wages are comparable to the UK.
